Which vehicles support Plug & Charge?
Not every electric vehicle supports Plug & Charge. To check whether your vehicle is compatible, consult the vehicle manual or contact your vehicle manufacturer. You can confirm compatibility via the BMW Charging menu in the My BMW App or the vehicle's charging display.
Can I use Plug & Charge at every charging station?
No. Plug & Charge only works at charging stations that support the ISO 15118 protocol. To find compatible stations:
- Open the map in the CHARGE NOW for Business app.
- Use the filter to display stations supporting Plug & Charge.
At stations that do not support Plug & Charge, you can still use your RFID card or the app as usual.
